Mark Hughes OAM is a former professional rugby league player who won two premierships with Newcastle and represented NSW in Origin. In 2013, at 36, he was diagnosed with high-grade brain cancer and co-founded the Mark Hughes Foundation, which has raised over $35 million for research.
