Lauren Armstrong is an educator, children's author, speaker and founder of The Self Love Safe Love Collective, an evidence-informed and experience-led initiative redefining how we teach children and young people about self-worth, emotional safety and relationships.

Based in Sydney, Lauren’s work sits at the intersection of education, wellbeing and domestic violence awareness and prevention. With both professional expertise and lived experience of domestic violence in childhood and adulthood, she brings a powerful and credible voice to a space that urgently needs early intervention and honest conversation.

Lauren is the author of Safe Love Feels Like This and Self Love Feels Like This, children’s picture books designed to help families and educators introduce concepts of boundaries, emotional safety and healthy relationships from as early as three years old. She also develops curriculum-aligned resources, wellbeing programs and practical tools that support schools, early learning settings and communities.

With a background in educational leadership, Lauren has led learning initiatives, guided educators and delivered training that translates complex behavioural and relational concepts into clear, actionable strategies. She is a confident and engaging speaker, known for her ability to connect with audiences through both insight and authenticity. Lauren equips people with the language, frameworks and practical ways to understand behaviour, recognise patterns to create meaningful change.
