Kiana Takairangi is an experienced NRLW athlete and proud Cook Islands international who has established herself as a respected figure in women’s rugby league. A talented outside back, Kiana has represented some of the game’s leading clubs, including the Sydney Roosters, Newcastle Knights, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and Parramatta Eels.

A member of the Cook Islands Moana representative program, Kiana has competed on the international stage and continues to be a strong contributor to the growth and visibility of women’s rugby league. Her journey through elite sport reflects resilience, dedication and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of athletes.

In 2025, Kiana joined the Parramatta Eels NRLW squad, creating history alongside her father Louis and brother Brad as the first father, son and daughter combination to represent the same NRL club at the elite level. The achievement highlighted the deep rugby league roots and family legacy that continue to shape her career.

Beyond the field, Kiana is passionate about using her platform to support young athletes, celebrate cultural identity and promote the continued growth of women’s sport. With her authentic personality and wealth of experience, she connects naturally with audiences across corporate events, schools, sporting clubs and community engagements.
