HEATH SHAW

AFL Premiership Player | 325-Game Veteran | All-Australian | Media Personality

Heath Shaw is one of the most recognisable and entertaining personalities to come out of the modern AFL era.

A 325-game AFL veteran, Heath built an outstanding career across Collingwood and the GWS Giants, establishing himself as one of the competition’s most accomplished running defenders. He was part of Collingwood’s 2010 premiership team and was twice named All-Australian during his time with the Giants, while also winning the 2015 Kevin Sheedy Medal as GWS Club Champion.

Known throughout football as “Heater”, Heath has always brought plenty of personality, energy and honesty to the game. His ability to engage a crowd, tell a good story and offer an unfiltered perspective on professional sport makes him a natural fit for corporate events, sporting functions, panels, MC roles and guest appearances.

Coming from one of Australian football’s most famous families, Heath is the son of Collingwood captain Ray Shaw and brother of former AFL player and coach Rhyce Shaw. The Shaw family collectively reached 1,000 VFL/AFL games, a unique milestone in league history.

Now retired from professional football, Heath continues to be a popular media personality and sought-after sporting guest, bringing the same humour, candour and competitive spirit that made him such a distinctive character throughout his AFL career.
