Greg “Fat Cat” Ritchie was one of Australian cricket’s great characters, a middle order batsman whose timing at the crease was as celebrated as his personality off it. He played 30 Tests for Australia, scoring three centuries, and represented Queensland for 10 seasons, scoring more than 6,000 Sheffield Shield runs and earning recognition as one of the state’s greatest Shield run scorers.

Since retiring, Greg has built a long career in media, with stints in the Channel Nine and Optus Vision cricket commentary teams, co-hosting Triple M Brisbane’s breakfast show and regular appearances on The Footy Show. Today he is regarded as one of Australia’s finest after dinner speakers, MCs and auctioneers, and his cricket stories, humour and quick wit make him a standout for corporate, sporting and special events.
