Edwina Bartholomew is one of Australia’s most recognisable and trusted media personalities, best known as a presenter on Sunrise, the country’s number one breakfast show.

With more than two decades of experience across television and radio, Edwina has built a reputation for her versatility, professionalism, and ability to connect with audiences on every level. At the Seven Network, she has held a diverse range of roles—from producer to presenter—ultimately becoming a key face of Sunrise and a trusted voice in Australian media.

Edwina’s career has taken her across the globe, reporting from destinations including Peru, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Dubai, Spain, East Timor and New Zealand, as well as extensively throughout Australia. She has covered major international and national events such as the Christchurch earthquake, Brisbane floods and the Vanuatu cyclone, and has returned five times as part of the network’s Olympic Games coverage, including hosting the daily afternoon broadcast during the Tokyo 2021 Games.

Known for her energy and fearless approach to live television, Edwina has skydived, bungee jumped and abseiled off a 33-storey building—all live on air. She has also interviewed a wide range of global figures including Al Gore, Andre Agassi, Coldplay, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Hugh Jackman.

Edwina holds a Journalism degree from Charles Sturt University and a Master of International Relations from University of Sydney. She began her career with the Seven Network after winning a national competition in 2003 and has since become one of the network’s most experienced and respected broadcasters.

Beyond media, Edwina is a passionate advocate for regional Australia and small business. She is the owner of boutique accommodation ventures including Saltash Farm in Carcoar and ‘Warramba’ in the Greater Blue Mountains, reflecting her commitment to community, storytelling and entrepreneurship.

She is also an Ambassador for the Nelune Foundation, UNICEF and the Leukaemia Foundation.
